Conversocial Takes £1.5 Million For Social Marketing Monitoring

By Robert Andrews

Barely an hour goes past these days without me catching mention of the awesome opportunity “social media” present to marketers, broadcasters and others.

Conversocial, another web platform which provides analytics to help such clients understand their supposed return on investment, is now the latest to take funding for the task.

The year-old London startupo has raised a £1.5 million first round led by DFJ Esprit. Its service is used by ITV (LSE: ITV), Mediacom, Tupperware and Groupon.

The tool understands engagement from brand followers across multiple social networks.
