Further detail would emerge in the next 12 months, but BSkyB (NYSE: BSY) “haven’t made a decision” yet on IP-enabling its boxes.
– Telefonica: The Spanish telco is merging its mobile and IPTV content. Its Movistar mobile operator is taking on the content of the Imagenio IPTV offering, which has over 500,000 subscribers, Variety says. Imagenio is offered as a Telefonica (NYSE: TEF) triple-play and launched in 2005. The launch happens next year.
