Content Backup/Sharer PutPlace Gets Irish Investment

Dublin-based personal media locker and sharing service PutPlace has raised a funding round of and doubled its board by adding two members. Electric News today says it raised 350,000 euros at the tail end of last year, predominantly from Enterprise Ireland; currently in beta, PutPlace itself did not disclose the amount in today’s announcement but said it was a “co-investment” that was led by that agency and also involved existing investors and new investors.
