MySpace Tries Bebo-Style Teen Video Drama

Newly slimmed-down MySpace UK is taking a leaf out of Bebo Originals‘ playbook, with a teen-focused short online video drama, Freak, made by FremantleMedia.

Premiering Monday, it focuses on lead character Lucy’s attempts to figure out her sexuality. Unlike Bebo’s shows Sofia’s Diary, Kate Modern and others, Freak doesn’t yet have in-video or product placement ads – but a display banner on its profile page.
