SpinVox alumni and the soon-departed are tweeting from beyond the corporate grave – the voicemail-to-text firm’s vice president of digital media, David Lindsay, and colleague Si Macintosh tweet their resignations…
SpinVox’s current public relations team may have hired in crack PR firm Brunswick to help it out, but its former global consumer PR director Ema Linaker, who’s still using the service, was hit by an unknown temporary outage. Linaker, also a former Google (NSDQ: GOOG) corporate comms manager, left SpinVox to be security firm AVG’s online engagement head last month.
The service was out for just a day…
In fact, SpinVox is actually switching paying users in the UK, where it does not yet have any carrier partners, over to a free services, as it looks to build product interest despite recent behind-the-scenes headlines over its finances and voicemail transcription techniques. It’s possible Linaker was merely snagged in the account migration.
But don’t expect revealing tweets from former SpinVox employees. The company is currently concerned some alumni may have broken non-disclosure agreements…
