Digital Marketer I-Level Enters Administration After Account Loss

The fact the website’s gone down is a symbolic giveaway – digital marketing agency I-Level has gone in to trading administration.

“The company will continue to keep going in its current form while we gauge the health of the business and look for potential buyers,” the administrators Zolfo Cooper told MediaWeek.

The site reports I-Level lost its business with the government’s Central Office of Information, worth £40 million or 40 percent of I-Level’s business, to WPP’s GroupM in February.

I-Level does search, affiliate and social marketing and analytics. Its client list includes Procter & Gamble, The Sun, Orange, Sky, Fidelity, Macmillan and Renault.

It may now become a target for one of the bigger advertising companies, as consolidation continues apace in online marketing.
