Google’s UK revenue dipped 11 percent dipped 8.5 percent this spring. Q2 sales came in at $770 million, down from Q1’s $842 million.
It meant the proportion of revenue the UK contributes to Google’s earnings fell from 13 percent to 11 percent.
Google (NSDQ: GOOG) only states UK earnings in US dollars.
The company saved $79 million in currency fluctuations through a foreign exchange risk programme.
As my colleague Joseph reports, Google-wide net revenue was up 25 percent to $5.09 billion, from $4.07 billion during the same period a year ago.
