Centaur Buys A Web Forum For Expats’ HR Managers

B2B publisher Centaur is still in the acquisitions game, adding another specialist professional community to its line-up.

It’s buying Forum for Expatriate Management Ltd (FEM), a web community for human resources people who deal with expatriate employees in global companies.

That sounds pretty niche. FEM publishes news, job listings etc and runs events. Centaur is spending £2.5 million in cash and up to a further £4.25 if FEM hits profit targets.

In 2010, two-year-old FEM made £400,000 profit on £1 million revenue, so its finances look pretty healthy. FEM staff will move to Centaur’s office.

Centaur wants to integrate FEM with its business travel shows.

Release.
