Going up against Groupon’s own plan to buy itself international scale, LivingSocial just acquired its way in to three more regions.
It has bought Ensogo (Thailand), Dealkeren (Indonesia) and the Gonabit (Middle East), Donews finds.
Both LivingSocial and Groupon have been buying sites in countries around the world to amass international networks. Reuters: “The acquisitions … expand LivingSocial’s market to 21 countries from 13.”
Groupon’s IPO is likely to swell its ability to grow internationally. Along with its latest additions, LivingSocial is now starting its own Netherlands site organically.
