Turner Broadcasting System used Cannes to announce it’s inked digital distribution deals with three online video platforms. The company will this month add short-form content from the CNN International channel and its Adult Swim show to European users of the Joost platform. US users have had this since May. It’s CNN’s first European foray in to short-form digital content. Turner is adding the same content to YouTube, along with short clips from the TCM movie channel and its Nuts TV UK lads channel. And it’s announced a similar relationship with Dailymotion. All this follows earlier distribution deals with Jalipo and Vingo.
