Incisive Media To Shed 50 Jobs: Report

Another day, another round of media job losses – but this time, in the B2B sector. VNUnet operator Incisive Media will look to cut up to 50 of its 800 workers, though the final number may look fewer because it already started a “job freeze” earlier this year, Guardian.co.uk says, citing those ubiquitous “sources”. B2B publishers are in play at the moment and Incisive is owned by private equity house Apax, itself so active on M&A this year in buying Emap’s (LSE: EMA) B2B unit along with Guardian Media Group. The report says confirmation of the losses is coming today.
